Doom in Hexen format is popular thru moders which write specific mods for ZDoom, ZDeamon and Sculltag. Making such an option looks meaningless, the "audience" is DelphiDoom is mostly players, not moders.
DelphiDoom is a limit removing class Doom engine, fully compatible with vanilla, using a hi-end software rendering system. Techical issues will occur not only to compatibility but also to performance. DelphiHexen runs considerably slower than DelphiDoom just because of these extra Hexen features (double skies, fog) etc.
Supporting ACS scripts and poly-objects in DelphiDoom will have a reason just if I suppopt a big variaty of existing Doom PWADs writen in Hexen format, which seems impossible. I don't want to imitate zDoom features. There is zDoom for playing these levels.

But it would be great if we could play such levels in 32 bit software mode, wouldn't it?

I've checked out this thread recently. This might help.

Sure, making zdoom works in 32 bit software mode seems better and easier solution for existing levels. But you already have all the source code you need from DelphiHexen.

Will anybody bother making a Doom in Hexen format level specific for DelphiDoom? No way!

I've made more that 50 custom actors in DelphiDoom's monster pack (DDMONSTERS.WAD) mainly for usage with Doom 2 and random actor spawning!!
